SATURN is the largest producer of drive tractors, and our articulating monorail tractors are purpose-built for tight-radius monorail systems where conventional drives struggle. Featuring positive-drive traction and an articulating design that tracks smoothly through curves, these units deliver controlled, reliable travel for demanding crane and hoist applications. Built in the USA and readily available, SATURN articulating tractors are also a strong retrofit solution when legacy trolley drives fail and replacement parts are unavailable – or cost-prohibitive.
Saturn offers three Tractor models that cover a very wide range of capacity, speed and service requirements:
Light/Medium Duty, BLUE/ORANGE/RED Class Units
Heavy Duty, BLUE/ORANGE/RED Class Units
Extra Heavy Duty, Custom-Built Units Only
SATURN’s Extra Heavy Duty T-200 Units are always custom designed and built to meet the specific need. These 2HP to 5HP units are typically used on higher capacity, higher speed and/or incline applications. Many times, a positive drive mechanism is included in the design of these tractors.
